Ecotourism
“Take only photographs, leave only footprints”! It is our mission statement to provide our clients with experiences that not only gives them the wildlife interactions they want from an East African safari, but to also support wildlife conservation, environmental protection and community development with our various initiatives. We provide sustainable travel so you can be a part of the magic of a safari while making a meaningful difference to the lives of local people and animals without hurting the environment while doing so. Our programs include several initiatives at this time. We strive to use locally owned and operated lodges at every opportunity. Many locally owned lodges have a share agreement with their communities to give back, not only through hiring of local workers but to also offer sponsorships and local aids.
Our “Ugandan director” is also a co-founder of Selfless Hands Bwindi a local NGO that helps marginalised commmunities around protected areas with emphasis on Bwindi protected area for gorilla conservation “ we support local communities with agriculture tools and inputs to increase their food security and household income to overcome poaching. This campaign started in 2020 and it will continue to run throughout our operations.
We have a running partnership and MOU with Moreen “miss tourism” Kigezi 2018 of “Asiimwe Foundation” who plants African ancient trees and with her campaign we plant a tree for every client who travels with us, and we use part of our margin profits to support this campaign.
Planting of trees will aid in the offset of the carbon footprint created by travel
