The 7 Days Best of Uganda Safari fantastic, well-planned tour. This allows you to see the best Uganda has to offer, staying in quality lodges just outside and also within the national parks. Track the majestic mountain Gorilla and mans closest relative, the chimpanzee. In addition, get a chance to see the ‘Big 4’ and take in some of the most spectacular scenery in the whole of Africa.

Day 1: Arrival at the Airport.

Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be met by your guide, briefed about your upcoming journey, and transferred to your lodge. We feel it’s best to stay in Entebbe after your flight, the last thing you want to do after a long flight is not to go on another long car journey.

Day 2: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After Breakfast, start your journey heading south. You will have a stop at the equator and Mbarara town for lunch. Your eventual destination is Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, you should arrive in the evening just in time to take in the breathtaking views of the mountains and the dense forest.

Day 3: Gorilla Tracking

After an early breakfast, you will set off towards what will undoubtedly be one of the highlights of your safari. The unforgettable experience is Mountain Gorilla tracking. After trekking through the dense forest to where the Gorillas were found the day before, you begin your tracking, searching for the largest primate in the world. Upon sighting, you will stay with them for one hour as they eat, rest and bond with their young. To reach them it can take anywhere between 30 minutes to 4 hours, so be prepared for a long trek through the humid rain-forest. Afterwards you will spend the afternoon relaxing and taking in your beautiful surroundings.

Day 4: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

After your morning breakfast, drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park through the Ishasha sector. Importantly, you will get the chance to see the tree-climbing lions that have made this national park so famous. In the afternoon, you will enjoy one of Uganda’s great wildlife experiences, the Kazinga Channel boat cruise, where you can see a vast array of wildlife playing and taking a water break along the shore.

Day 5: Morning game drive and Chimp Tracking.

After morning breakfast, head out to enjoy the magnificent game drive in Queen, including 4 of the ‘Big 5’. Especially, many other big game animals and also the vast array of birds that live within the park. In the afternoon, you get the chance to get up close and personal with man’s closest relative, the Chimpanzee. These Apes are a joy to watch as they go about their daily lives, squabbling, and also playing in trees. Upon sighting the Chimps, you will stay with them for one hour.

Day 6: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park.

After breakfast, drive to Lake Mburo National Park stopping on the way for lunch. You will arrive at the park just in the time for the afternoon boat cruise. Later in the evening, relax at the lodge for overnight.

Day 7: Morning Game drive and transfer to Entebbe Airport.

The adventure continues after breakfast as the game drive goes on in Lake Mburo national park, an extension of the Tanzanian plains. Lake Mburo has distinctly different fauna compared to other Ugandan parks. It is the best place in the country to see eland antelopes, zebras, topi, impalas and bushbucks. After the game drive, depart for Entebbe with a stopover at the equator for lunch and later proceed to catch your flight
